Midnight, after the celebration, Diana, Ling Ling and Sereen surprises me! They plan to decorate my room with pink! Omg!! Haha! They started to put on their creativity and design on the wall... It is really fun and beautiful.Imagine wat happen to my room now?It looks like a princess room..haha!

After lecture, I received an sms from my dad...I cried after reading it.Papa, mama, keat yee and ah khan, I love you all = ).It is really touching..Suddenly, I feel that I;m the most 幸福 person in the world with all the blessings and greetings from family and friends. Although we are far apart, but i can feel the warmth of them = P

Actually, I didnt expect to receive gift form my friend during SEP.Surprise! I get present and cards from Ling Ling, Sky and Yoo Jung. It is really sweet..

真是一个难忘的生日呀！

Last 3 weeks in SFU

Time flies....I met with a Kyra, a korean friend on my way back to hostel. She asked me to have dinner together for the last time before we leave...Oh yea!! It is my last three weeks in SFU.....Omg.I didnt realised it until she mentioned. That's really fast =.= Suddenly i felt that i must appreciate my time here and enjoy every moment that i spend before going back to reality..Ha!

Big Prawn Head =.=

Guess wat happen to me today? I try to open my room door for 3 minutes and wondering what happen to the door lock. How come my key can't open the door?? and started to panic....After several minutes, I suddenly realised that I went to the room on a level below me =.=
Ha!...really funny n big prawn head......

SFU == Fogging School

It is fogging terribly early in the morning when i woke up...Gosh....How much I wish the day is sunny and bright = )

Finally, I'm back to my normal pace after rushing crazily for assignment and midterm for 3 days consecutively.Unfortunately, I did badly for my Geog midterm. My brain was blank when I received the paper, probably due to lack of sleep. = ( I was awaked after I passed up my paper. Well, it is the time to study hard for my next paper.= ) Jia you! jia you! gambatte!

While I am blogging, 988 DJ said a very meaningful sentence : " 应该放下的时候，就要放下。。 " 一句很简单但却很难实行的一句话。试问世上有几个人能做到那么洒脱呢？能够拿得起，放得下 。。

First Hockey Game = ) ( Week 7)

I watched Ice hockey Game with friends this evening(16 Oct) in Pacific Coliseum .It is Giant(Vancouver) against Caugars and Giant won 8-0 to Caugars.Hurray! There are plenty of kids watching and shouting to support Giant. However, i felt wierd because the players always fought with each other during the game. Fighting during the game seems very normal to the spectators and players. There are even kids shouting "Fighting!Fighting! " to encourage them to fight...Just like watching boxing game.

Though it is fun watching, it should be my first and last time watching because the ticket is quite expensive, 13.50 after discount = (. While watching them skating so easily, i suddenly have a strong thought to learn ice skating...It should be wonderful! Haha! I should try once in Vancouver if have time = )

活在当下！

终于赶完assignment 了，超轻松的。所以，给了自己十五分钟休息。。

刚才看了朋友的blog, 让我想了好多事情。。人生真的好短暂，怎样才算是有意义的人生呢？怎样才算过得充实呢？怎样才算不浪费呢？我相信每个人的答案会不一样吧。。。

回想起来，我觉得自己超幸运的。。拥有很支持我的家人与朋友，重来不为吃喝烦恼。。。 糊里糊涂进了NUS, 糊里糊涂选了EE, 就这样两年过去了。看回两年前的自己，不断的奋斗，拼成绩，拼宿舍的活动，只希望能够在大学的这段时间内，充分利用所得到的时间与机会，努力不断的学习.有时候会想，若再给我选择，我会来新加坡吗？我不知道。。。不过肯定的是，若我没来，就不会有现在的自己。。。

更没想到的是我竟然能转学到加拿大大学，并在这儿呆了一个月了。。我十几年来的梦想--出国读书终于完成了。。 梦想起飞 =）实现梦想的那一刹那，脑海中浮现了一个问题：我以后要做什么呢？是时候寻找一个全新的梦想了吧。。。

上个星期日，有个室友问我：感情和理想你会选什么？我毫不犹豫地回答：以前的我会选理想，现在的我会选感情。其实，我被自己的答案吓倒了。。或许随着年龄的增长，经历的事情多了，所追求的东西也会改变吧。。。挺喜欢这样的自己　＝）

You can't imagine how strong the wind and how cold the weather is... = )

　　上个礼拜（9/Oct) ，跟朋友去了whale watching...竟然可亲眼目睹鲸鱼在眼前跳跃。。超棒的. 是值100cad dollar 了。。But, it is just once in a life time. I wont go twice 哈!

　　　好了，该做lab report 了。。。好期待星期五，要去雪山＝）

　　　好好珍惜所拥有的一切，用心去感受身边的事，充实地过每一天，活在当下！加油！

Vancouver Island -- Victoria

2 weeks ago(18-19/09/2009), my friends and I travelled to Vancouver Island. Guess how long we spent on travelling time? After sitting sky train for 1 1/2 hour and bus for 1 hour, we finally reached Tsawwassen Bay = ) Gosh! It is really far away from SFU = (. Guess what, we still need to take 1 hour cruise to reach Vancouver Island. And, from Swatz Bay , it took us 1 hour to reach Victoria!! In total, we spent 4 1/2 hour to reach our destination! It is just like a trip from Penang to KL....

Luckily the cruise is fun and big! This is the first time I sit such a big cruise. There is arcade rooms, restaurants and souvenir shops! Wow! And, we can even watch channel TV in the cruise = )Ha ha! Besides, the transit system in Vancouver is really different from Singapore. It is more flexible and friendly.Here, the bus driver can change the bus route when it is needed. On Friday, on our trip to Tsawwassen Bay, because of too many passengers, the bus driver decide to split into two buses , so that all of us can fit in the bus. It is so considerate = ) Then, the bus driver has a mic which he can announce the places when we reach and can talk to the passenger, just like a traveller bus and the driver is the guide = ) So fun!

We slept in International Hostel on Friday night and it is the first time to overnight in hostel during vacation. I don't like hostel because certainly, it is unsafe to leave your luggage in the cupboard and sleep.

We woke up at 7.30am on the next day and start travelling around. No doubt, Vancouver is a beautiful island with breathtaking scenery. We went to the expensive Emperor Hotel, the beautiful Legislative Building , Royal London Wax Museum and had our lunch at Fisherman Whaft's.We share a Fisherman's Sampler which include half of steamed crab, mussels and 'ham' and fish n chips among 3 friends. It is worth buying and the food is delicious = ) Yummy!! The mussel is big and fresh!

After a yummy lunch, we went to Butchard Garden, 1 national historic site of Canada, which has been built over 100 years. The Garden started in Waterwheel Square and then the Sunken Garden, which link to the Rose Garden and the Japanese Garden. Later on, we walked to the Italian Garden and reached Star Pond.There is plenty of beautiful flowers in the Garden. There are different colours of roses : red, yellow, white, pink, orange.... When we walked into the Japanese Garden, the feeling changed. The atmosphere turns green with lots of bonsai, small hut and stoned pathway.


Undoubtedly, Victoria is a prefect place for relaxing and honeymoon. The lifestyle pace is slow and thus we can enjoy every moment of our life sitting or lying on the grass enjoying the beautiful view of the island.
